If you haven’t found the perfect Father’s Day gift yet, fear not. While we always carry a great selection of products, we’re especially well stocked on dad-specific gift ideas. For example, there’s a wide array of quality personal care products, including beard oils, soap, and shaving supplies. Duke Cannon soaps are among our favorites—they come in a gargantuan size that won’t get all small and soggy within a few uses, and have great scents with hilarious names like ‘productivity’, ‘accomplishment’ and ‘victory’. If there are still children in the house, we can recommend Handy Dad in the Great Outdoors. This book is filled with projects that dads can do with their kids. It’s a great gift that can help foster even more quality time between kids and parents. Of course, those are just a few examples. If your dad could use a new wallet, bag, or even a new book to read, we’ve got you covered. Come in and as always, you can ask one of us for help with ideas.
Do you, or someone you know still use the same gross, raggedy wallet from a decade ago? Start the new year off with a new wallet to hold your cash and cards in style! We’ve got a selection of different brands and styles, to fit any kind of taste. The wallets from Herschel (above) are made from heavy duty canvas and come in great color combinations—or, for the more conservative tastes, we also carry a solid black bi-fold.
If you’re looking for something really classy, we have cardholders and wallets from Almanac Industries, made right here in Baltimore. Their products are handmade with high quality leather and feature minimal designs. Lastly, for anyone looking for something more bold, we have wallets from Narwhal Company. Their bi-fold wallets are made from repurposed vintage neckties. Each one not only makes a statement, but is also completely one-of-a-kind.
Father’s Day is coming up this Sunday, the 15th! If you’ve been stuck trying to find the perfect gift for dad, we’ve got a few suggestions for you. We carry products from Gentleman’s Hardware, such as 15″ laptop cases and tablet cases made from contrasting grey felt and brown leather. They look both rugged and sophisticated at the same time. If dad’s got an old wallet that’s falling apart, we also have wallets, such as this leather one stamped with the text “Fortune favors the brave,” and Tyvek wallets that are waterproof, tear-proof, and incredibly durable. If your dad likes to enjoy a drink in the evening, we’ve got a few cocktail shakers, including one engraved with the word “cheers” translated in different languages.
A great deal of of candles out there probably fall on the side of being too ‘girly’ for a guy, but this bourbon-scented candle from Kobo certainly is not. Perhaps dad never even knew he liked candles, but this one just might change his mind! For the handy dad, we’ve got a utilitarian tool bag that rolls up neatly with everything inside. It comes with a set of tools included, but would certainly be great for carrying around existing tools, also.
Of course, these are just a few suggestions. Other products that would make great gifts for dad include Stanley thermos, Portland Growler, and cast iron cookware. If you’re still stuck, we’re always happy to personally point out some suggestions in store.
Don’t do it! Just put down the tie and back away! This year surprise the dad’s in your life with Father’s Day gifts they will actually appreciate!

I just returned from the buyer’s market in Atlanta, Georgia. It is super exciting to see the enormous variety of products that companies/artists from around the world are offering. It provides a huge source of inspiration, and we put our best efforts forward to find products that we love in hopes that you will love them, as well! Oftentimes I find myself with a “needle in a haystack” approach. With the large amount of offerings, the search for unique, creative and well thought-out products can be difficult. That was the case for me this year… until I stumbled upon a new line of men’s shower products OTTER CREEK!
I was immediately drawn in by their direct approach and clever packaging, as well as two of the friendliest ladies that one would ever want to meet. This line boasts “subtle masculine scents and effective cleaners and moisturizers that any man will benefit from.” While I am fond of all of the products the company has to offer, my personal favorites are the “SPITSHINE” body, wash-a mixture of cedar, coffee and leather, and the “FIRECURED” bar soap, made with ground charcoal, black pepper and bergamot oils…WHAT?!
OTTER CREEK was by far my favorite find at the show. I am more than excited for this simple, witty and hip line to arrive at Trohv. I hope that you love it as much as I do! We’ll keep you posted as soon as our shipments arrive.
